I wonder what this song is about? Erm...
"Lays me down, with my mind she runs" Yep.
I think it's about heroin.
"Never a frown with golden brown"....yeah, pretty sure it's an ode to a heroin high.
my favorite Stranglers...never a frown with golden brown..dont think its H,suggest its something far more gentle..
always loved this, stood out in that era when there was little else...never even thought about the words, just went with the tune...:)
