About Me
Born in 1954, Glam was my thing, "Ziggy" Bowie my hero. My goal on my REWIND TO THE SEVENTIES Jam is to celebrate 70s music, and maybe inform those who were not around at the time. OLD JAMS at http://thatwasmyjam.sharpshooterlabs.com/user/leejohnson/jams.

Paul Simon's first single release since splitting with Art Garfunkel as a creative duo, it was a big surprise to hear him suddenly playing reggae, and an even bigger surprise hit too, reaching No. 5 in the UK charts, and No. 4 in the US, in early 1972. And the song is about - well, exactly what it says on the tin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_and_Child_Reunion

[Re: the video - still trying to figure out why Lionel Richie was trying to get at some ostrich eggs, disguised as one of the lairy creatures!]

Love the Chinese menu story, which I suppose answers the age-old Which Came First conundrum. The answer being "They both arrived at the same time - on the same plate, in fact."

@leejohnson It's obvious that if Lionel hadn't been in disguise, then the emu would have run away.
