What a gorgeous toon. I once took the 12"single version of this out to the dancin' to lend to a girl I really fancied. She wasn't there, but I still have my vinyl...sigh. Anyhoo, should we stay or should we go now?!? I told my son on the phone last night, to vote with his head, not with his heart. If someone somewhere (in summertime) had convinced him that leaving the UK was a panacea for all the ills we are told blight Scotland, he should vote accordingly. My head won by a mile. I hope his did.
@21schizoid That's lucky - she might of kept your vinyl - I hope things work out for the best in Scotland - either way. As long as you don't rebuild Hadrian's Wall : D
@lindatee No-one keeps my vinyl (even if they're cute as hell!!) That's all any right-thinking Scot should hope for, Lindy and as you say, in either camp. Incidentally, have you seen some of the work our Polish...er, Scottish builders produce?!? That wall would fall down in about 9 months... ;-D
@lindatee great! I jammed this a few days ago with the same idea! As a landowner of 1m square area of Lagavulin (inherited whilst buying whiskey from their distillery) I am totally absorbed.
@ian38018 - ah - it's not actually my empire - but I know what you mean . @BarneyRubble there's a lot of anti Westminster feeling all over England - and were stuck with it. I hope you both are happy - whatever the decision ... It's still too early to say really.
@PartyTearsFew : D can you shout at people to "get off your land"? This is an excellent song - and needs rejamming regularly . (Did you buy a lot of whiskey - and they just threw in some land because of your good custom? )
@lindatee hahaha yeah, in my wellies! I think they'd been notified by the manager of The Glenmoriston Arms (by the Telford bridge). We had stayed overnight on way to Islay and took the challenge of trying as many of the 100+ whiskeys they boast there. This was in the heady 1990's the rest is a blur.....
