I made it to about 2 minutes into the song; I accept your apology @ricercare. Though I suppose that the video, to me, represents the typical use of rainbows in most songs-- even if exaggerated, which is why I like the way they are called upon in the Orbison jam
Well, now that I think about it, your video could have been enjoyable if sung by R.O., so maybe it comes down to vocalist preference @ricercare. He makes rainbows crying sound good.
His inflection of his relaxed voice is perfect. It's also neatly tucked into the song without build up, making those lines resonate more subtly by being unexpected.
I've come up with a clever tactic @ricercare: I can delete my posts and repost them with the grammar/punctuation fix; it's like the error never occurred. I severely judged your pronoun abuse there.
@lunacraft its http://www.letsloop.com/hashtag/ThisIsMyJam but you have to register first, so go to www. letsloop.com part. Registering was a bit confusing for me initially until I found out that what they want you to is pick at least 3 fave artists. The you're in. But that's where I stopped until some other time when I have more time and patience.
From what I can tell, the new replacement so far is Letsloop.com. I'm not sold yet, might take some prodding to get me over there, but lots of other folks from here are moving there.

You're careful to avoid hyperbole so that statement speaks volumes. It is the best use of rainbows I can think of in a song.

I cannot think of another @ricercare

Yep. Their fleetingness it not usually active in the symbolic uses of them.

I had some pronoun trouble in that last one. (Not correcting...)

I just ask you don't fix the dashes in the fourth comment -- I love them too much.
lunacraft
Oh no, you've started dashing. It's a slovenly way to write.
ricercare
I've long overused the dash. That said, my dash-usage has increased since knowing you.

sorry for the fractured syntax in the above. It's late and my laptop has moved up my torso.
