One thing I forgot to mention about the 1938 World Cup, the star of the Cup was Leónidas from Brazil, top scorer of the tournament, the brilliant Brazilian coach Adhemar Pimenta decided to keep Leonidas out of the squad on the Semifinal match against Italy so he could rest for the upcoming final, the Italians of course, won 2-1. On the 6 matches Brazil played on the '34&'38 world cups, Leonidas scored on the 5 games he played.
