Is it me or is it kind of strange seeing a double necked guitar used on a soother like this? This is one of the first CD's I bought and I loved Christopher Cross ever since I heard "Arthur's Theme" as a kid.
Regarding this live performance, it is most unusual to hear a song performed absolutely as the studio version was laid down, note for note and instrument for instrument. It makes this vid all the more special.
A good singer/song-writer.
@florencevibert jammed him a while back and I said then (IMHO), that CC suffered, because didn't look like the media and critics idea of what a popular musician should!!!! So sad. Great Jam Marissa - thanks

...in combination with "Ride like the wind" (same album) a wonderful song to "fly away..." :)

Easily his best piece of work. What a male soprano voice.

In the meanwhile I prefer "The Café Carlyle Sessions" versions of these songs... @leejohnson

Ha, ha, @shiningsun2k, you've watched too many 'Stairway' & 'Hotel California' vids! This is great for Sunday morning with coffee & coco pops, thanks.
