@roseyrhymes you should listen to their stuff, people like "Into the Valley" their punk anthem, but they have a lot of varied material, quirky rhythms, slow songs. Scottish punk band, where the guitarist Stuart Adamson went on to form the band Big Country. This song (The Saints...) was covered by U2 and Green Day for some kind of Katrina relief charity. @eyespyhifi nice time to be exposed to the skids type of R'n'R; they were virtually unknown in the states at the time, but I happened to have some british friends who exposed me to bands like the skids,ruts etc.

@roseyrhymes film score, exactly! They were really good musicians and interesting songwriters, who rose above their punk roots pretty fast.
