@21schizoid Growing up in Ireland I saw him several times, as one of the few (along with Lizzy, of course) r'n'rollers who ever toured the country back then. The last time I saw him, U2 was on the bill, and they were all flash & the Edge shredding his guitar, Bono jumping up on the amps. Then Rory comes on, looks out at the crowd, says "Howya", hits the pedal & leaves the support in the dust. He finished the gig with Phil Lynott playing with him. Then the next week I went to see the Stones....
