“Surprise! Another Cher jam! As flattered and overjoyed as I am when some people start singing "Believe" when they see me, it's not my favorite '90s song of hers. More than almost anything else she's ever done, I feel like this song really demonstrates what Cher's actually capable of. I love her voice in all of her music, but most people haven't heard her like this. I wish I knew more big fancy music words to describe what's going on in this song, but the main thing is that she sings a bunch in a breathy falsetto and it's really subtle compared to what she's usually known for -- I think it's gorgeous. Also, it comes with your typical super predictable, totally cliché, classic mid-'90s video/promo clip. It's really fun if that's your kind of thing. And, fellow die-hards, of *course* this is the UK version. Don't worry, it's been a little while, but I still know better. #FarewellTIMJ”
