Fabulous. I'd love to know what instruments are in there. I've been listening to lots of autoharp stuff today, and think that's in there, but there's something else I can't identify.
@SueSkinner there is a jaw or mouth harp (not sure which) that comes in towards the end... that what you you were wondering? Definitely hearing the banjo, not sure if I've spotted the autoharp.
@clickysounds Yes I can hear that too. I read that Mike Campbell (?TP and The Heartbreakers Mike Campbell) played slide guitar (it's awesome and droney) but I could swear I could hear celestial echoes of June's autoharp. Maybe wishful thinking in light of my next jam.... :)
@SueSkinner doesn't matter really... I fell into an enjoyable youtube hole (I blame the mouth-harp, didn't realize how universal an instrument it was, onto throat singing videos now).
@SueSkinner Journey ended here, Innuit traditional love song on top of the Eiffel Tower! wow. (completely with idiot comments... "woah... these ladies are fucking")
@SueSkinner Your comments are always a pleasure to receive. There's definately a jaw harp in there. I've a feeling the music to this was recordes after Johnny Cash had sadly died
@ZenPyramid It certainly has an intensity that stays with you. Perfect for the song. Miles better than the star-studded other video to the song http://youtu.be/eJlN9jdQFSc
@AlicejustMay love that, I always forget to do this. Life gets so chaotic, it becomes a whirlwind with me spinning in the center. I need to remind myself to breathe and this too shall pass.
@philipnareike wow what a great pick! I love Johnny, and this song with the video..there are no words.. I do love that his mug shot in the middle of the video was priceless.

I think jaw and mouth harps are two terms for the same thing, but there are lots of shapes, so not sure if the names are specific. Related.

@clickysounds I always thought they were interchangeable terms ...

@SueSkinner I always did too, till you led me to go poking around. So now I'm not sure.

I've heard a few tracks these past few weeks that have made me sit back and try to remember to breathe - this is up there in the top two.
philipnareike
@AlicejustMay I'm glad it's a short song..I think the combination of those visuals and the music really is something special
AlicejustMay
@philipnareike As you say, the combination certainly reminds you of your own mortality... stunning.
