@philipnareike Hope you had a great night out, you deserve it after your extraordinary jamming in recent months. I only meant relatively normal- it's a great song!
@kemiladashdot It was a good night. She's a marvellous singer, songwriter and pianist.. Her band were great too. I'd never seen anyone play at Bexhill De La Warr Pavilion before either. It's certainly an interesting, unusual and unique venue. Not much to do in town though, apart from walking the promenade and seagull watching
Is that where you live? I've ambigious feelings about living on the coast, though Brighton/ South Coast is lovely & close enough to London for it not to be terminal. Sounds like you need to form a gang and hang around outside the local Spar or Co-op.
@kemiladashdot No, I don't live in Bexhill, I drove there from Brighton, but I'm in London a lot in the week, depending on work, mostly western London, along the other end of the Uxbridge Road
@kemiladashdot Now you come to mention it...when I was there I saw a menacing-looking gang of 80 year old Teddy Boys hanging around the bus stop...I had to cross the street
@kompani101 It's the theme to some new prison drama/comedy series called 'Orange is the New Black', hence the somewhat different sound to her usual work
@kompani101 Apparently it's being streamed on 'Netflix'...as it's a female prison drama, it would be interesting to compare it with Prisoner Cell Block H, the last soap opera I remember watching that I had any real interest in..:)

Nice fairly normal record

@kemiladashdot I went to see her play last night. It was the first time I'd heard this song. It seemed unusual for her to have a guitar on a song
