Yesterday I got a smurf themed Kinder egg. I was hoping to build myself my own little blue friend. But of course I got Gargamel. :/ Good thing the four little ones are safe on their way. Frida just called... They've reached Göteborg where they started hitch-hiking - found a fat guy driving a truck. big beard, red suit... :D
@philipnareike actually, as I was already a bit grown up when it was a hit in Brazil, so I was already cheering for the villain kkk. and i really do think my Gargamel pez dispenser is very cool!
@BladeRunner Muaahaahaa! So, even in Smurfland....The villain's always more fun! Muaaahaaaahhhaaaa....(fading Vincent Price laugh) I just discovered that the Smurfs were originally invented in Belgium in the 1950s. I never knew that before. There's this town UK not far from London called Snodland! I always find that name so funny.I once went there to someones house for an Xmas Party.....I honestly expected everyone living there to be purple with big noses! That's how I imagine Snods to look!

@thisismymistake Yeah..I thought that clip was quite bizarre. I've been a fan of Ralph Steadman's work for a long time

@BladeRunner I never watched the Smurfs cartoons but I remember this song from my childhood. I also used to collect the little smurf figurines
