I bought this Guillemots cd a few days before giving birth to my first boy. Forgot about it until 2 weeks later, home alone with a newborn, feeling completely out of my depth but overwhelmed with love for this tiny, super demanding being, I decided to try and soothe him and soothe myself with music. If only to drown out the cries (his and mine). This was the song I played and it describes exactly how I felt at that moment. And now he's six its one of his favourite songs.
