Bukowski

Great track, great album, great choice. From the best of the 'later' R.E.M. albums (imo).

Methinks NAiHF is a bit of a mixed bag, but E-Bow, So Fast, and this are definitely high highs.

I think it's a great album, not sure why it's generally considered a bit of a let-down. Something has to follow every hard act to follow!

@Bukowski @thisismymistake @thesunneversets I always loved the album as a whole, though this may be affected by a particularly warm pocket of personal memories associated with it when it came out (ironically in NYC, not LA). and I think, of all my favorite bands, R.E.M. albums lend themselves the best to warm pockets of nostalgia that might affect one's judgment thereof. (I'm looking at you Automatic for the People).

let me be objective and revise that to: "my" judgment thereof.

@robbfritz Wonderfully and eloquently put. I'm looking at you 'Lifes Rich Pageant'.

@Bukowski yes, and that great album too! actually the first album of theirs I ever heard. recorded at John Mellencamp's studio in Indiana. Strange fact I just learned.

My favorite R.E.M album, and a wonderful way to end it.
