My daughter went to school dressed as a wolf today as part of the World Book Day celebrations. Been singing this ever since.

Good for you, I'd have definitely been singing Hungry Like A Wolf, and had a rotten day no doubt.

Nice. Plus interesting info as my 7yr old is dotty about wolves/huskies. Which book? Balto/The Last Wolf/White Fang/Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig?

@PartyTearsFew none of the above; though they sound great! It's a novel called Wolfie by Emma Barnes, my daughter's fave book at the moment

@simonp ooh, just looked that up, I need to get that for my daughter. She was a wolf for world book day last year in honour of Balto the famous sled dog (half wolf in the movie version). She had a wolf mask that howled when you pressed the nose which I'm sure the teacher's loved. She is still a wolf most of the time - she wears a jacket with a wolf/husky hood. Ooh I do love a natter on a Saturday morning. Have a great day.

@simonp Our A went in her dungarees as Huckleberry Finn though in my head she was Oor Wullie. Are they any songs about these pair?

@PartyTearsFew I'm sure she'll love it. Our one has been kind of obsessed with it.

@leslieplatt59 well clearly Tom Sawyer by Rush for the former. And The Bucket by Kings of Leon for Oor Wullie - or maybe anything by Dexy's in their dungaree phase
