@thisismymistake thanks for re-introducing me to Glitterhouse by the way. Used to buy a lot from that label in my alt-country phase in the 90s, including the imperious Walkabouts. They've got some really intriguing bands.

Oddly enough, the label that could do no wrong in the early 1990s was Normal Records from Cologne, they licensed those early alt-country labels (Heyday, Okra,...) as well as the Australians and Flying Nun. Glitterhouse was still stuck in Grungeland but gladly it managed to survive and prosper...
@simonp I really like this. A Norwegian Glitterhouse band from 15 odd years back this reminds me of is Midnight Choir. They made melancholy an real art form
