Very beautiful, very Norwegian...
@thisismymistake thanks for re-introducing me to Glitterhouse by the way. Used to buy a lot from that label in my alt-country phase in the 90s, including the imperious Walkabouts. They've got some really intriguing bands.
@simonp love a bit of Scandanavian melancholia, some great stuff coming from there at the moment.
Very mellow..smooth perfect for my mood!
Another album on the 'to buy' list!
@simonp You're very welcome. Oddly enough, the label that could do no wrong in the early 1990s was Normal Records from Cologne, they licensed those early alt-country labels (Heyday, Okra,...) as well as the Australians and Flying Nun. Glitterhouse was still stuck in Grungeland but gladly it managed to survive and prosper...
@simonp New to me - very atmospheric
@simonp I really like this. A Norwegian Glitterhouse band from 15 odd years back this reminds me of is Midnight Choir. They made melancholy an real art form
@leslieplatt59 yeah, wow, forgotten about them. Not sure I knew they were Norwegian though
