No self respecting boy would have anything to do with the Bay City Roller global phenomenon back in the day, but Pilot was alright. January made them famous, but I have always had a soft spot for Magic. I liked the bass playing lead singer, David Paton, and followed his work with Elton, Kate Bush - and Camel (remember them?).
Off to the 80th anniversary Abbott's Magic Get Together today in Colon, Michigan (Magic capital of the world) to see some amazing things!
