I don't know if The John Grant also helped the German entry to translate their song into English, but I know he could have...
(although admittedly I prefer if the contestants sing in their native language).

@thisismymistake yeah. the icelandic song was originally in icelandic but they decided to translate it for the video and the competition as they "think the song has a good message that should be understood by as many people as possible" ;) a fair enough excuse. (ps. GO ICELAND)

@solveigo After seeing Emiliana Torrini tonight I'm on the #GoIceland bandwagon... The German entry is meh as usual.
