This actually came out in 1986. My favorite early "shoegazer" anthem!
Badass intro. Rest of the song ain't bad either.
Made a fortune by being the A and R from MAARS, despite not writing Pump Up The Volume (they did the ignored B-side), the original title was You Push A Knife Into My Womb (no-one would press it). Love the line 'the hair on your neck forms a noose around mine'. Great song.
