I love the way that the music fades in and out of the white noise and static that Carsten creates. You think it would limit the options available to him as a musician but it seems to free him to be subtle about the choices he makes when building the textures in his work. I'd kill to see him at Corsica Studios or Café Oto but it appears he hasn't played since last February.
