still a great song 20 years later, the kind i can only enjoy unselfconsciously when R's not around. i don't frequent the electrical audio boards anymore, haven't in years--too much like a locker room for me back then, though i met plenty of awesome dudes through it who are honest to god feminists, whee--but i remember my surprise to learn one of the ookiest-about-lady-stuff dudes there, a prominent poster, was a huge fan/defender of difranco, citing in particular how good this song is. blew my mind. the lyrics to this one are excellent, perfect for this time of year.
