I couldn't really handle this album's darkness when it came out, and didn't give it nearly as much time as MHTRTC. Apparently it was a sleeper critical hit though, and lots of reviews I'm reading now are calling it their best. For me that's still MHTRC, but this song has always given me chills. Dark magic.”

To me this piece feels like regret, loss, and longing. Another early track from A Few Old Tunes (1996).

"1969 in the sunshine" a robot's fond sensory memory. I'd be happy to have this stuff playing in the background all the time (rather than just most of the time).
