Last night I went to see Elton John. Elton was amazing, but I was already captivated before he came on stage by the support band. This is the song that caught my attention. Sounding a little bit like the bastard love child of La Roux and Hurts via a 1980s wormhole, any song with a killer key refrain within the first few seconds and an opening line of "It can really hurt if you love a lot / It can really hurt if you don't" has my instant approval. And after watching the rest of the set and spending today listening to the album from which this is lifted, I can predict that this is totally my jam for the next week.
