The new Hotline Miami 2 trailer has had me listening to this quite a lot over the last 24 hours. 4:30 is when it gets *really* good.
Miami, Florida. April 8th, 1989. Beneath the guise of palm trees and spring breeze, sinister forces are at work. A call is placed from a rust-covered payphone in the small hours of the morning to an apartment complex in Downtown Miami, along the coastline. Babysitter. East 7th Street. Long talk. Be discreet. At approximately 5:37 p.m. the same day, police respond to a distress call and discover the bodies of six Russian mob pawns. They are brutally disfigured and twisted beyond recognition, and police uncover no lead to a suspect. The state of already extremely tense Russo-American relations changes for the worse, as Miami spirals into panic.
I love the slow, gradual, build up to an epic ending. As used in the Hotline Miami 2 gameplay trailer a while back.
