8. Written by David Bowie as a protest against racism and oppression "Let's Dance", is another single from my favourite David Bowie album of the same name from 1983. The rhythm and beat makes this an eminently danceable blues song. The music video was filmed in various northern New South Wales locations including a pub in Carinda and in the beautiful Warrumbungle National Park, an endangered birds heritage area.
"Let's dance put on your red shoes and dance the blues,
Let's dance to the song,
they're playing on the radio,
Let's sway,
while colour lights up your face,
Let's sway,
sway through the crowd to an empty space."
