David Bowie - Continuing a sequential chronology of Bowie songs, with ten of my favourites from his more than 250 published songs. This follows an afternoon at the #DavidBowieis exhibition @ACMI #Melbourne on September 4; fantastic. 2. Four years on in 1971, and at a time when David seemed less certain of himself and his raison d'etre, this song was the title of an album with the same name. It still continues to endure the test of time with cover releases; look for a very good blues roots cover from Doug Simmons - Glen Mitchell band. Bowie was the artist who most provided my primary interest in music and movement. Over five decades my constantly evolving eclectic taste in music has been influenced by his style. He is a multi domain artist with talent more broad than being simply singer-songwriter. His skill transcends multi-instrument musician, singer, songwriter, designer (costume and sets), artist, actor. To me he is a complete artist in the fullest meaning of the word.   13
