I'm not much into current hip-hop or rap but I love old school stuff and style. I grew up in the cradle of hip-hop in the 80's, met some artists and loved the style and creativity of the lyrics, the sampling and track making with the smoothness of beats. All thrown in together live on a loop and done in one take with skill and style. Today, not so much. Something happened, the love, the message was lost along the way. Though it isn't 100% gone, you just have to get off the radio to find it and listen to it. Some old school artists are still going strong and some new artists follow in those footsteps. I just wish they played more of it on the mainstream, I would enjoy it more so now days if they did. @DJPremier @Rakim @Nas @Krs-One #oldschool #teacha
