“#DustyWeek This incredible song was actually recorded during the 'Dusty in Memphis' sessions but never made it onto the actual album. It was later used as a USA B side I think in 1971. But it is on my vinyl copy of 'Dusty in Memphis PLUS' (1980) which contains 4 extra tracks, all of which are wonderful. I've had that album for many years, since the early 80s. It once belonged to ex-Radio 1 DJ Dave Lee Travis. Some of you may already know in the early 80s my Dad worked as DLT's gardener and used to sometimes bring home stuff from work. This has to be my favourite record of all the many he liberated from the Hairy Cornflake's record collection (he had far too many and obviously didn't want them) that he kept in his garage..perks of the job I suppose.....thanks Dad.....he once brought home an old Antique sword...but that's another story.....”
