Back to the very beginnings for this final #aWeekofDisco offering. This is from late '72, Keep on Truckin' was still several months down the road, and some of the characteristic production traits of the Disco sound are not yet in evidence here (no synths, no 1,001 strings), but it's audibly evident that the sonic innovations of Mayfield, Hayes, Hathaway, Norman Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, etc. had pivoted to something -- other than they were on this record. Dancers agreed, apparently. And just listen to that beat! Anyway, thanks to @psyclopstrees. Disco week has been big fun!   2
