Elizabeth Cotton and her grand daughter. Nice branching story, she played guitar and banjo as a young woman then stopped for 25 years. She got a job as a housekeeper for the Seeger family and took up music again with their encouragement and went on to have a recording career. Watching her picking guitar in her 90's is something else. She could outplay Seeger on the guitar but he took it with grace. They both lived to be 94.   6
