Let's Fence by Eska

“Finally ripped my old Eska (the Scottish(?) mid to late 90s alt.rock band) sevens last night. So so good. This was the b-side to III Spike (or Ill Spike or something involving three characters that could be upper case i or lower case l or Roman numerals), as well as appearing an early Camden Crawl compilation. They got a bit post-rock on the later Case Wrapped Up EP, then a bit post-emo on their only album, but the early singles were the best Eska: two-to-three minute blasts of joyous fuzzed up indie-rock.”

Very early track from Glasgow's finest - Eska. 1996 Camden Crawl. Mogwai's Stu Braithwaite on drums (I think).
