#100 Is my favorite song of all time, Fly me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra. Released in 1964 (that was a good year) off the album "It Might as Well Be Swing", Ole Blue Eye's was back on top. The opening grabs you right away with the soft snare drums, the flute flirts with Frank's voice and the alto-sax, horns explode onto the scene, the song builds and ends with the pianos resolute answer. Jazz big band perfection. Perfect song for a swing around the moon (Apollo 10) or landing on it (Apollo 11) . My husband and I recently went outside in the early A.M. as the International Space Station flew over our house, you could see it with the naked eye! As I held my husbands hand (In the middle of the street, both in bathrobes, my poor neighbors) gazed at the heavens and marveled at the wonder of the space station, this song played in my heart.
