“I just learned that Russ passed away earlier today. He was a fine musician, expert luthier and all-around great guy who left this earth far, far too soon. We are so fortunate to have one of his beautiful ukuleles, as well as a small wooden box he made when Lily was born; we will continue to treasure these. I can never hear Jake Shimabukuro without thinking of Russ, so I dedicate this to his memory. Sending his wife Harris all of our love...”

Following on with another "White Album" song and this amazing cover that's one of George's best loved songs. He never thought John & Paul were appreciative enough of the song and he said, "We tried to record it but John & Paul were so used to just cranking out their tunes that it was very difficult at times to get serious and record one of mine. It wasn't happening. They weren't taking it seriously and I don't think they were even playing on it, and so I went home that night thinking 'well that's a shame,' because I knew the song was pretty good." So what did George do? He had a chat with his old friend Eric Clapton...!! Jake is a virtuoso, ukulele player from Hawaii. It's from his "Live" album from '09. The original video of him playing this song became one of YT's first viral videos and has had over 13million plays! Jake's been described as, "...a monster musician and boldly takes the ukulele where no ukulele has ever gone before." Enjoy
