And coming in at Number 2 and very narrowly missing out on the title of Album of the Year is Carry On The Grudge by Jamie T. It's been a long five years without Jamie T gracing us with his presence and the music world has certainly missed his unique perspective on life while he's been away. Luckily for us, Mr Treays returned earlier this year and he brought with him his best material to date. Carry On The Grudge sounds like an album that has been years in the making, with Jamie has honing his skills as both a musician and a storyteller. The 12 tracks meander through dark character-driven pieces and emotional tales of heartbreak, sewn together by Jamie's raw, honest and often poignant words. The album is simply captivating from start to finish and further proof that Jamie T is quickly becoming one of this generation's most treasured lyricists.
