Completely out of left field for Janelle Monae, and maybe all the more powerful because it's so unexpected.

Because NBC didn't have the guts to finish the song, it's my Jam this week. "Hey NBC - if you really don't want to challenge some of your white viewership to think, don't air Jonelle Monae. Stick to reruns of SMASH."
