Enigmatic Ocean (iii) by Jean-Luc Ponty

“This album got me through my school exams. I must've worn it out. My hero at the time was Allan Holdsworth, those long stretched legatos. I saw him with Bruford and UK, but never with Ponty. Of course I saw Darryl Stuermer with Genesis, but it would have been great to have seen this band live I think; they fit so well together. Ralphe Armstrong's basslines live in my head still. A wonderful whole LP, all killer no filler. Ah the #70s
