Inadequate. Don't be fooled by my extreme deficiency in matters of erudition. I attended a very good school in Glasgow, capable of turning out elite individuals in spades. I like to think I stand not entirely alone, in the great pantheon of 'nearly made it, but in the end fell short of sufficient brain cells to hold down a meaningful career' types, who ambled out the gates, at the end of a six year shift. My old Alma mater was blessed with some talented musicians. Sadly, I was not one. Yes, I did feature in the school choir, after a particularly embarrassing (forced) audition, before a lively 6th year audience (a kind of X-Factor precursor, if you will). However, instruments bemused me, so I became an 'appreciator'. Had Mr Bonamassa played at that early juncture of my 'appreciating' cycle, I'd have been a Bonamassian.
