In 1994 I was in junior high school and had cable tv for all of two years. In that time I watched MTV religiously. Megadeth's album Youthanasia came out in '94, and Megadeth did a video for "Train of Consequences" that MTV played for a little bit. Aside from stray bits of Pirate Radio when I was a kid, this was my first real exposure to metal, and I never looked back. This may not be Megadeth's best album (or the best song off that album), but it hit me at just the right time in just the right way, and changed my life forever.
