Neon Indian is the soundtrack to my ever-80s-leaning-neon-synth-romanticized-angst-and-wistfulness heart
A common criticism of modern Synth/Electro Pop is that its too derivative of the 80's. I just don't hear it. To me it sounds like a bunch of artists said to themselves "Lets do that, but this time we're gonna take that same pop sensibility, and make it cooler and hipper than anyone thought possible". I just love the production/aesthetics of this stuff.
