My best job: creating dreams for people who can't dream. There are plenty of such people and they are desperate. In the mid 90's I was in Berlin doing lighting for stage shows (Kraftwerk once), and mainly weekends. Weekdays I was enrolled at "Träume Für Diejenigen Die Nicht Träumen Institute"(the Institute of Dreams for the Dreamless). I gained a certificate in dream construction. Dream construction is a subtle art and science; it is not at all about merely piling on crazy and disparate images. We learned about dream logic and stately statelessness. Our creations were converted into clay tablets and placed under the tongue of the dreamless. One dream narrative I created had 1000+sub lingual applications! Nick gave a lecture once. He right liked my work. He copped my line,"BABE YOU ARE LIAR (x5)! (remind me to tell you the dream construction that spawned it) for this terrific tune of elegant dream imagery and logic. Now who will be my witness?
