#original Paul Pena recorded this in 1972, but his 'New Dream' album was shelved after a dispute with the record label. Ben Sidran, who produced that album, played keyboard in the Steve Miller band. He gave an unreleased copy to Steve Miller. The rest is history. Pena's album was eventually released in 2000. Worth checking out.
