I only noticed this song when I was watching a let's play for Alan Wake, along with several other dark soulful songs. An all time favorite.

I had a nightmare visit me on gentle breeze, at dusk, on an autumn day. I've felt happiness while wiping tears of sadness from my eyes. I've felt strength from having been broken. The ghost in the machine may only be biochemical reactions, leaving marks, like cave paintings on the fabric of time. This song makes my mind wander.
Such a great album, and I always end up listening to it near the end of the year for some reason.
