Pitchshifter were going through their Desensitised and WWW period, Nine Inch Nails were releasing heavy hitters like The Downward Spiral, Meat Beat Manifesto dragged the blinding Subliminal Sandwich out from lord alone knows where, The Young Gods dropped Only Heaven, Godflesh had Selfless and Songs of Love and Hate on constant rotation in my bedroom, and then the previously comedic crusties PWEI unleashed the unbelievably on-point album Dos Dedos Mis Amigos with instant classics such as Ich Bin Ein Auslander and Everything's Cool.
