Never forget.   1

The lyrics are taken from recollections of World War one by Harry Patch, Britain's last frontline veteran. Patch was a tremendous humane man and this song is a fitting tribute. It's also (in my opinion) the most beautiful piece of music Radiohead have ever recorded.   1

Remembrance Sunday. A beautiful piece of music to commemorate the passing of the last British soldier to survive the First World War. A couple of years ago I wrote a blog post about my Granddad and his role in the Great War, it seems like a fitting time to re-post it http://puttinonthesmile.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/remember.html   3

Not sure this was ever 'properly' released, just on download. Most beautiful thing Radiohead have done IMO.   1
