“More memiors...since we're getting near the end of TIMJ.
I've been lucky enough to have my own weekly spot on a national radio station here in Seoul for almost 2 years. Every Wednesday from 5-6pm on 'Cut Me Some Slack' I play 5 songs from different artists. As time has moved on, to keep things fresh and engaging for me (and hopefully the listener) the show is tied to a theme I put together. Of course, we've had the bass player episode, bands from the Pacific North West, the science episode, the Jangly Guitar episode (where I can't say Rickenbacker...for a whole hour), and many more. Anyway, it's been great fun and I always try to make it an entertaining, informative, fun hour of tunes and chat.
This week's the Glasgow Episode and I'll feature this track I heard earlier this year. Justin Currie does a great job on the vocals, a nice wee guitar solo, and the Cairn String Quartet adding the finishing touches to the song. Bravo!”
