A Thimble Full of Sorrow by Rhian Sheehan

substandard’s jam on 3 May ’15 and then once after that (See all)

“I've jammed this as a #SundaySoother before but I don't care. I had a revelation with this piece recently. I don't know exactly what it is, but there's something about it that affects me quite deeply every time I hear it. I have to stop what I'm doing whenever it's on and just... dissolve into it. It's strange, it gives me this profound compulsion to reach out to the people I'm closest to in life and somehow make them understand just how much I love them. I really can't think of anything else that's had such a strong effect on me before.”

Gorgeous. Adore the violins. #SundaySoother The slow build is a bit of a cliché in this genre but it's so effective when it's done well that you can understand why.   5
