"The Prisoner" Theme by Ron Grainer

#PrisonJam  .... Along with "The Sopranos", this is my all-time favourite TV series and you just wouldn't believe the impact it had on me as a 12 year old when I watched the first broadcastings on our old black 'n' white TV. This , along with "I am the walrus" was my introduction to modern surrealism. I didn't always understand it but I WAS enraptured by it & I never missed an episode when my parents ( who hated it) used to submit to my passionate begging! The English have always been the best at this kind of nonsense since "Alice in Wonderland" & Edward Lear and as for THAT FINAL episode......well, I don't think I really WANT to know what it all meant! :-)”
