Anyone watching Peaky Blinders will have heard Grace (barmaid and undercover copper) singing what I guess is the traditional version of this song, or poem as it originally was. Nice fiddle action in Sinéad's version.   1

This song comes from a poem written by Sinead's father to her deceased mother. Sinead did the poem justice, and so did the Dead Can Dance cover.   3
