This track, in fact, the whole album, reminds me of a road trip I took with my now wife. We drove randomly through Europe, chain smoking, and listening to the local radio as well as cheap tapes and discs bought from filling stations. We discovered off-beat music, food, places, people and a connection between us deeper than love, lust or romance. A lot of things trigger memories of our road trips, but this captures that initial pulse and pace of when we set off through France that first time...   10

Yes, I know I said I was going to be posting punk, BUT in honor of all my Burner friends who are scrambling now for last minute packing, final costumes, connecting with friends so they can find each other, I give you St. Germain - My first year at BM was 2001, my partner, Mr. B's was 1998 - our first time together was 2005 and that's when he shared St. Germain Tourist with me (I had never heard of) and I shared Wilco -True love if you can start dating and do 8 days on the Playa together. Just heard from our neighbor from 2012 who flew in from Australia (he's a Ranger now!). Mr. B' s and my last year - 2013 when I took his ashes to the Temple - combined years - well a lot - Mr. B '98, 00, 02; mine '01 then we meet and did '05, '06' 08, '09' '11, '12 and the sad last '13 - so this song goes out to all Burners as you must bring St. Germain Tourist to BM - it's the sound track of your BM life, especially during siesta time - that time when you really need to chill :><: XO and Burn for me:)   4
