Generally speaking, I'm comfortable being er, 40ish. At least I was until a post-Saturday meal, turned into 'let's all watch Britain's Got (No) Talent'. This sent me to all 3 toilets in the accused household, before exiting stage left, in a state of depression that I wasn't 20 and off imbibing & clubbing with ma' pals. Mulling over this sorry mess on Sunday, with my beloved artisan caffeine, I absentmindedly flicked thru' a newspaper supplement, stopping at the ad for the upcoming (what's left of) 10CC 'Sheet Music' tour. As one does, I wondered what had become of those fine fellas & stalled for no particular reason, at vocalist Eric Stewart. I discovered he had produced the 3rd album for Sad Cafe, a combo I knew little about, save for a couple of singles, the lesser of which (in chart terms) is this wee gem. Quite Stones-like I believe & vocalised by the late, much lamented Paul Young. So, Sad...Cafe...seldom 2 words in my same sentence. They brought me some much needed pleasure...   71
